, and I didn't think of this in time to edit
Do you think they were better off with plastic T-tops? Lighter and shatter-proof.
Of course they were very scratch-prone and much darker, which is why GM quit using them.

I saw this , then rushed to FP to make sure it wasn't a relative...my cousin lost a t-top at the strip about a year ago.
